To ensure timely access for our current patients, Sound Family Medicine is no longer accepting new patients for primary care. We are accepting new OB, maternity, Gynecology, and Physiatry patients. Also, for non-life-threatening illness or injuries, our walk-in clinics are open to all patients with accepted insurance or cash pay services.

Announcing our 2016 Scholarship Winners

For the last 12 years, Sound Family Medicine has awarded scholarships to future leaders within our community. As an organization who has cared for families in the community for over 30 years, it is a privilege to award $1,000 scholarships this year to five extraordinary high school seniors.

Our only criteria for this award was to demonstrate strong academic performance, a commitment to your community and the desire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. We received many applications overflowing with outstanding transcripts, impressive lists of extracurricular activities, hundreds of hours of community service, compelling letters of recommendation and heartfelt essays from the students. After hours of reading, we really felt that we got to know these students. We became cheerleaders for them as they shared their dreams. Selecting winners from a group of young adults who already demonstrated so much potential, motivation and dedication was difficult although there were 5 who truly stood out.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce to you our 2016 scholarship winners!

    1. Hi Beth, The application process is facilitated by the Puyallup and Sumner school districts as part of their community scholarship process. Once applications are collected, we review all applications and select our winners. Your daughter’s school counselor or career center will have application dates available for you in the fall.
