Elisabeth was born and raised in Fayetteville, GA. She grew up in a military family, and relocated to the Pacific Northwest when she was in high school. She began her medical training at Pierce College where she obtained an associate degree in nursing. After acquiring her RN license, she began a residency program in labor and delivery at Good Samaritan Hospital, while also completing a bridge program at University of Washington-Tacoma to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She has worked in labor and delivery for the last 11 years and thoroughly enjoys her career as an RN. Her tenure includes 9 years at Good Samaritan Hospital, followed by 2 years at St. Joseph Medical Center. Elisabeth’s passion for women and children inspired her to go back to school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, so she could provide care for the whole family unit. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program at Frontier Nursing University and completed her clinical rotations at Sound Family Medicine.
Elisabeth’s philosophy as a healthcare provider is to look beyond a specific complaint and see her patients as a whole. She is passionate about health and strives to do her very best to keep her patients healthy and provide prompt, evidence-based care when they are sick. She aims to provide a holistic approach to medicine and focused on keeping the patient healthy as opposed to just treating symptoms. She loves building relationships with her patients and being a resource to them.
Elisabeth is a mom to two young children and values family more than anything. They love riding bikes together, taking their dog Maggie for walks, and playing outside any chance they get. In her free time, she loves to exercise (specifically running and weight training), gardening, baking, reading a good book, and traveling to somewhere new.
