Amanda Ganete, PA-C, provides compassionate, evidence-based care with a focus on the patient first. She believes quality care happens through collaboration, clear communication, and shared decision-making between provider and patient, ensuring they feel heard and are involved in their care plan.
Amanda earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College after completing her Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Biology at Seattle Pacific University, where she was a collegiate volleyball player. She is proud to hold the school’s No. 2 record for career digs. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate of Medical Science degree at A.T. Still University.
Before joining Sound Family Medicine, Amanda worked in urgent care and breast surgical oncology. She also completed an urgent care fellowship after physician assistant school. Her healthcare experience also includes roles as a dermatology scribe, medical assistant in general surgery, and surgical assistant in plastic surgery.
Amanda chose family medicine because she enjoys the unique range of patients, the opportunity to build relationships, and the all-important emphasis on preventive care. She is committed to helping patients understand their health and treatment options so they can make informed decisions together.
Originally from Hillsboro, Oregon, Amanda moved to Seattle to attend college and later returned to Washington after physician assistant school in Montana. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, traveling, attending country music concerts, and spending time with family, friends, and her two adorable cats named Bindi and Bentley.
