To ensure timely access for our current patients, Sound Family Medicine is no longer accepting new patients for primary care. We are accepting new OB, maternity, Gynecology, and Physiatry patients. Also, for non-life-threatening illness or injuries, our walk-in clinics are open to all patients with accepted insurance or cash pay services.

No Hungry Tummies this Thanksgiving

Bonney Lake walk-in clinic collects food donations for local food bank

Did you know that the Puyallup Food Bank serves more than 70,000 people each year with the 10 tons of food donated each week? That’s more than 1 million nutritious meals every year! These meals are made possible by generous neighbors in our communities and the kind hearts of people like the staff at Sound Family Medicine.

Surnise Sound Family Medicine food driveFor years, our staff have dedicated November to raising awareness for the need that exists in our communities through an annual food drive. Our four clinics challenge each other through friendly competition to collect donations that will help ensure no one goes hungry this holiday season. This year, our Bonney Lake clinic competed with ATI Physical Therapy to see which team could collect more! The bragging rights are exciting but knowing that they are helping to fill the empty shelves at the Bonney Lake Food Bank is the real motivator.volunteering at the Bonney Lake food bank

This caring spirit doesn’t stop with our staff. In fact, the daughter of one of our employees has been inspired to contribute and volunteer at the food bank year round. “When she learned that she was going to have an early release from school last week, she asked if we could spend our afternoon volunteering at the Bonney Lake Food Bank,” proud mom (and SFM Provider Liaison) Tina Kist, shared. Her daughter, Casey, also helped to deliver our recent donation and has become a familiar face at the facility.
