These information sessions are led by pharmacists from our partners at Genoa healthcare. Join us at our new Senior Clinic Community Room and learn about:
• Type 2 Diabetes
• Hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Heart failure
• Dietary/herb supplements and prescription meds
The information in these classes are for adults 18+ and feature one topic per class session.
Seats are limited; reservations are required.
These classes will be held at the Sound Family Medicine Senior Clinic. Masks will be required when onsite our facilities.

Meet your health education Pharmacists
Rahul V. Tak, Rph, PharmD, MS
Rahul Tak, Pharm.D, MS is a Manager Pharmacy Ops, Genoa Healthcare, Puyallup. He has more than 10 years of experience in Medication Therapy Management and specializes in Comprehensive Medication Management Services focusing on Quality, outcomes, adherence, cost, and consumer satisfaction.
Mahwish Yousaf, PharmD, BCPS, is a clinical pharmacist. She has 9 years of experience in both hospital and ambulatory clinical pharmacy. She is residency trained and pharmacotherapy board certified. She currently provides direct patient care in clinics for patients with diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and other chronic disease states. She enjoys interacting with patients and focuses on improved clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes.
Masks are still required when visiting our clinic locations and attending seminars and classes in our facilities.
