Rana Sandhu, PA-C, felt a powerful calling to the medical field through witnessing the struggles of those in the underserved community in India where she grew up. Beginning her education overseas, she completed her graduate degree from the University of Washington MEDEX in Seattle. Rana chose to become a Physician Assistant (PA) – a role she considers an essential bridge to medicine.
Rana is particularly excited to work in family medicine, as she believes it is a vital part of the healthcare system. She sees family practice as a gateway to addressing and preventing health conditions as early as possible. Rana is dedicated to a patient-centered approach by involving patients in their care, educating and encouraging them to follow treatment plans.
In her free time, Rana enjoys spending time with her large family and trying new activities with her two boys, such as skiing and horseback riding. She also enjoys traveling to new places, which helps her relax and unwind from her busy routine. To stay active, she engages in hot yoga, weightlifting, bicycling, and running.
