Merrily grew up in New Mexico and attended nursing school at New Mexico State University. She then left the desert for the PNW where she worked as an RN in a local emergency department for the last 17 years before pursuing her dream of becoming a family nurse practitioner.
She brings to her practice the nursing philosophy of caring for the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. She believes that to pursue true health, each of these dimensions need to be considered. She also brings hard earned instincts, wisdom, and hardiness gleaned from almost two decades in emergency care. She’s excited to bring these traits together with her advanced studies to help her patients achieve better health.
In her spare time she likes to hang out with her husband and three kids and explore the outdoors. When life allows, she also enjoys playing the piano and getting lost in books.
