Biography

Dr. Kevin Taggart tries to bring a gentle and natural sense of humor to his family medicine practice. Like our other doctors, he cares for patients of all ages, and he has an emphasis on obstetrical care and pediatrics.

He graduated from UCLA Medical School and completed his residency at Valley Medical Center. He joined Sound Family Medicine’s Puyallup Hartland clinic in 1999.

As a sports enthusiast, he also has a special interest in sports medicine and helps out in the community as the team physician for the Puyallup High School football team. He enjoys all spectator sports and spending time with his wife and two children.

The voice of my patients

“Dr. Taggart is amazing. He knows our family and cares deeply. He goes above and beyond for a holistic view. I almost didn’t take a new job if I couldn’t keep him under my insurance.”

“Dr. Taggart always has a smile and is happy to answer any questions I have (no matter how silly- mom worries). I always leave feeling listened to and knowing my health and the health of my family is in great hands.”

Kevin Taggart, MD in PPE

“I believe that a sense of humor can heal your heart and mind and there are studies to confirm it.”
