Kayla Reinbold believes in partnering as a team with her patients. She is known to be thoughtful and thorough, as well as a good listener. When patients meet her, they truly feel she strives to address all concerns or at least have a plan in place to start addressing health concerns. She is passionate about preventing health conditions from occurring, and she wants to equip her patients with knowledge and tools to help them live a fulfilled, happy and healthy life.
Prior to becoming a PA, she worked in multiple healthcare settings for 10 years, including caregiving, radiology, and pediatrics but mostly spent her years working in an inner-city Emergency Room. She saw first-hand the detrimental effects of not having health conditions managed properly, mostly due people not being able to find a consistent family medicine provider. Her passion only grew for family medicine, as she completed clinicals during her studies for PA. She enjoyed her rural family medicine clinical rotation for the small-town hospitality and valuing the importance in keeping and maintaining trust for an entire community, and has put that into practice by creating a supportive, trusting relationship and a sense of community for her patients.
In her free time, she cherishes spending time with her large family, trying new foods, and new activities such as diving with whale sharks. She loves learning about history, especially by visiting historical sites with her spouse, as well as reading historical fiction novels. She also enjoys staying active by working out, playing basketball or tennis, and taking her dogs to the dog park. And like most of us, she does enjoy a good Netflix series!
