Biography

Dr. James Majors has been practicing as a Gynecologist for more than 33 years. Originally from Illinois, he attended the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston, with an internship at the University of California at Irvine and a residency at Tulane University in Louisiana.

After high school, he took several years to travel the country and play percussion in a gospel band before going to college. While practicing in Southern California, Dr. Majors developed a love for ice hockey and at age 47 took up the sport recreationally.

Dr. Majors takes a collaborative approach to medicine and trusts his patients to understand their own bodies. He facilitates treatment by asking questions, listening, and applying care where needed.

Dr. Majors lives in Eatonville, has two teenage sons and enjoys playing ice hockey and summer lake activities.

(Please note: a referral is required from your current primary care provider prior to seeing Dr. Majors as a specialist.)

The voice of my patients

“I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor. He got my son and me through a high-risk pregnancy and my boy is a happy healthy four-year-old. I trust him completely!”

James Majors, MD

“I will never know my patients better than they know themselves. The key to helping them is in asking the right questions”
