James Heinlein, PA-C joins Sound Family Medicine with clinical experience in retinal ophthalmology and in-patient hospital care before becoming a Physician Assistant. His master’s thesis was on improving atherosclerotic cardiovascular (ASCVD) risk assessment using apolipoprotein B (apoB). James has a wealth of knowledge on preventative care and loves to share it with his patients. He enjoys family medicine because it allows him to build lasting relationships and share his extensive knowledge with his patients. Most weekends you can find James outside enjoying the natural beauties of the PNW with his family, hiking, playing sports, or paddleboarding.
