Dr. Christian Hoag is a board-certified family medicine physician who grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and graduated from Gonzaga University with a background in biochemistry and philosophy. He earned his medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at East Pierce Family Medicine, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Hoag has a passion for full-spectrum family medicine, including pediatrics, adult and geriatric care, and obstetrics. His approach to medicine centers on prevention, continuity of care, and empowering patients to make informed decisions for lifelong wellness.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hoag enjoys a vibrant and active life with his wife, his high school sweetheart, and their three children. An endurance athlete and Ironman triathlete, he also enjoys skiing, woodworking, DIY home renovations, and spending time on the water boating and fishing. He finds deep fulfillment in building strong, team-based relationships with patients and is proud to care for entire families, often across multiple generations.
