Chris Olmstead, ARNP, started his medical career in the ICU as a nurse. From there, it was onward and upward, continuing from the ICU to the Emergency room to time as a flight nurse. These experiences gave him the preparatory expertise to handle the complexities of being a nurse practitioner. Chris has loved the combination of the art of building relationships with patients and the science of biology and physiology. In addition, he enjoys how the medical field can mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically challenge you. Chris’s methodology for medicine comes from his value placement on vulnerability, honesty, and trust with his patients. Using these traits as a base, Chris is transparent about current health diagnoses while also coming to the table to discuss what is pertinent and feasible for his patients.
In his free time, Chris enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible. Mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
