We’re pleased to announce the grand opening of Sound Family Medicine’s new Patient Services Center! Located on the main floor at our Puyallup 10th Street (Hartland) clinic, this center is dedicated to our patients as we work to increase access to quality care in Pierce County.
The intent of the Patient Services Center is to bring together comprehensive customer service resources for our patients including access to the following:
- appointment scheduling
- clinical support staff
- referrals and prior authorizations
- case management
- mySFM patient portal registration and troubleshooting
- medical record requests
“We listened to our patients. They identified an opportunity to improve access to their healthcare team and we wanted to do something about it. We took action.” Clinical Director, Joseph Crain explained. “Patient experience is so important to us that we wanted a solution that would be better than just another call center; it needed to be so much more. We intentionally engineered some depth and aligned synergistic services such as referrals, appointment scheduling, and pharmacy refills into our new Patient Services Center to create a more comprehensive service for our patients.”
Our doors are open to you Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Whether by phone or in-person, you can count on Sound Family Medicine’s Patient Services Center to provide excellent, comprehensive and compassionate care. It’s our privilege to serve you.
