My name is Carey Morrill and I am a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner for almost 27 years. I joined Sound Family Medicine last August, practicing at our 31st Ave location.
A little bit about me
I have been practicing for 27 years, and for the past 15 years, I worked with Dr. Estelle Yamaki in Federal Way. I also have 20 years of experience and certified in colposcopy. Prior to that, I was active duty Air Force. Here at SFM, I work closely with Dr. Jim Majors.
What can I do?
I would be happy to support you for any gynecologic issues. Services I can provide:
- Annual well-woman exams
- Care for issues such as vaginitis, UTI, pelvic pain, bleeding issues, interstitial cystitis, prolapse, urinary leaking, menopause issues.
- Birth control counseling, STI checks, breast lumps
I can also support women’s health procedures such as:
- Endometrial biopsy
- Endocervical polyp removal
- Vulvar biopsy
- IUD insertion/removal
- Nexplanon insertion/removal
- Colposcopy

Patients do not need a referral to see me; you can just call our Patient Services Center at 253-848-5951 to schedule an appointment.
