This spring, our community submitted their nominations and cast a vote for their favorite local businesses in South Puget Sound as part of Showcase Magazine’s annual reader poll. Last week, an event took place at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. Here, Showcase Magazine announced the winners in categories from services, cuisine, health, shopping, and destinations. We are over-the-moon to share Sound Family Medicine won “Best Pediatric and Family Care of 2018”! Dr. Marc Aversa receives Since 2013, Showcase Magazine has hosted the “Best of” awards and opened the nomination and voting to their readers and our community. Sound Family Medicine also won this distinction in 2015 and 2016. “We are proud to congratulate Sound Family Medicine on being voted as the Best Pediatric and Family Care by Showcase Magazine’s readers,”said Robin Lucas, Publisher of Showcase Magazine. Dr. Marc Aversa, Medical Director, had the honor of receiving the “Best of 2018” award on behalf of Sound Family Medicine. This announcement also takes place during Sound Family Medicine’s 34th birthday. Founded in 1984, our organization remains physician-owned and committed to delivering comprehensive care to families in Pierce County. “For us, this award really recognizes our providers and staff and the compassion and dedication they share for the patients we care for,” Sound Family Medicine CEO, Denise Martel, shared.
