Jennifer Biggs, PA-C
I’m a certified physician assistant taking patients at the Hartland Same-Day and Sunrise Clinics. I will be seeing patients for acute problems and day-to-day needs including physicals, with a focus on women’s health issues.
I chose family practice because it allows me to see a variety of people of different ages with differing conditions. It’s the big-picture specialty: It requires an understanding of the whole body and how outwardly unassociated issues may be related. I also chose family practice because I believe that prevention of disease provides the best bang for our healthcare buck when it comes to helping people stay healthy. Of course we need specialists for all levels of care, but educating and helping people take steps that prevent the onset of illness – such as quitting smoking -- will have the greatest impact on their health down the road.
Patients in my care will find that I am open and honest and encourage the same from them. This helps me help them make informed decisions for their own care.
